At CommBank Stadium on the occasion of the 2024 Ken Thornett Medal ceremony, the Eels honored their season’s top players.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard’s tenure with the Eels came to an honorable conclusion when he was named the NRL Player of the Year and received the coveted Ken Thornett Medal.

Three major honors were won by Clint Gutherson: the Coaches Award, the Players’ Player Award, and the Members’ Player of the Year Award.

Shaun Lane received this year’s Community Award in recognition of his exceptional work off the field, especially in the subject of mental health.

Blaize Talagi, who advanced through the Parramatta Pathways program and established himself as a mainstay in the Eels lineup this season, won the Rookie of the Year Award.

After establishing himself as a vital member of Nathan Cayless’ squad in 2024, young forward Brock Parker won the NSW Cup Player of the Year award.

Dan Keir won the NSW Cup Coaches Award after having an outstanding reserve grade season that culminated in his NRL debut.

The Jersey Flegg Cup Player of the Year and Coaches Award went to rising prospects Tancum Brown and Saxon Pryke, respectively.

Don Musson, an eels employee of many years, was awarded Club Person of the Year for the second time; he had previously taken home the prize in 2020.

The team paid tribute to the players who made their NRL debuts, reached significant milestones in 2024, and left at the conclusion of the season.

At the 2024 NRLW Awards Night, which will take place following the Women’s Premiership season, the Eels will honor its female players.

  • Michael Cronin Club Person of the Year: Don Musson
