The Washington Commanders have been working to improve this team during the summer. This summer has been a makeover for everyone involved, including owner Josh Harris, general manager Adam Peters, Dan Quinn, the rest of the coaching staff, and all of the new players. Every week, NFL Spin Zone compiles the NFL power rankings. With a starting position of No. 26, quarterback Jayden Daniels and company appear to be improving in that area.

“According to our offseason NFL power rankings, this may be the Commanders’ highest rating to date. Perhaps,” writes NFL Spin Zone. “QB Jayden Daniels, the Heisman Trophy winner, was selected by the Commanders with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Daniels has the potential to become one of the league’s most explosive dual-threat quarterbacks right away.

“You could have the recipe for a little overachievement when you mix [Dan] Quinn’s defensive play-calling skills with a dynamic quarterback like Jayden Daniels. Perhaps. Daniels has led with humility ever moment he entered the building. His capacity to form strong bonds with his colleagues has been praised and praised loudly. With the start of the season, we have a sneaking sense that the Commanders’ standing will rise.

An unidentified agent thinks commanders will experience major changes.

Adam Peters was given the job of turning around the Washington Commanders, one of the poorest teams in the NFL for the previous 20 years. Once the best football team in the world, Washington has suffered since the start of the Dan Snyder administration. Now that Snyder is no longer in office and a new leadership team is in charge, a lot of adjustments have already been implemented. And NFL agents everywhere are already paying attention. One unidentified NFL agent thinks the new general manager and head coach in Washington have the team headed in the right direction, according to a survey conducted by Ben Standig of The Athletic.

“Dan Quinn is the ideal choice to lead the necessary culture shift as head coach. The combination with (GM Adam) Peters is fantastic. Beyond football, they have a ton of work to do, the person said. “Observe his tenure with the 49ers and his Washington debut. They’ve already done a fantastic job reorganizing the scouting division. It has been almost 20 years since Washington had even a scouting structure. No general manager evaluates a club alone.”

While fixing Washington won’t be simple, it seems like things are beginning to look up in the nation’s capital now that Quinn is in charge of the locker room and Peters is in charge of the front office.
