Mike White, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, is no stranger to brawling with AFC East opponents. As a member of the New York Jets, White actually took some of the toughest blows of his career from defensive lineman Ed Oliver and linebacker Matt Milano of the Bills, including two fractured ribs in a game versus New York in November. Despite the setback, White completed 268 yards of passing. “I just can’t be locker room mates with Matt Milano,” White stated.

White was obviously being satirical, but his intensity should make him feel right at home in Buffalo. Up until that point, White’s toughness and persistence were cited by Bills general manager Brandon Beane as important reasons for adding the Western Kentucky product to the practice squad. Beane remarked via video conference, “We’ve obviously gone against Mike.” “I believe that everyone in this room is constantly aware of his career in the AFC East. Regardless of when he entered the game or started it, Mike always came in with a flaming attitude, which is something I have always appreciated and liked about him. Have no fear.
