Michael Mann, the director of Heat 2, provides an intriguing new update and reveals his filming schedule. One of Mann’s most well-known movies is Heat, which was released in 1995 and tells the story of the confrontation between a devoted police officer named Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino) and cunning bank robber Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro). A sequel/prequel novel that follows the development of McCauley’s gang and the escape of the Shiherlis from South America after their heist goes awry was published in 2022 by Mann and author Meg Gardiner. Since then, Mann has shown his interest in turning the book into a Heat 2 film.
In a video that Courtney Howard posted, Mann provides a positive report on Heat 2 while attending a recent showing of his 2006 crime drama Miami Vice.
