Towards the close of their week, the New Orleans Saints received a few encouraging injury updates. They’re getting healthier as they get ready for the Tennessee Titans, their last preseason game.

On the front end, their first-round selection in 2024, has been out since last week due to a back problem. He is returning the favor.

Taliese Fuaga rejoins the team during practice drills.

Fuaga is the left tackle starter. He has been quite effective throughout the summer, adjusting to Klint Kubiak’s scheme with ease.

Fuaga has had excellent feedback from coaches and teammates. He must maintain his health for New Orleans. Fortunately, his recent back issue turned out to be a mere side note. It’s uncertain if he will play in the final preseason game against the Titans.

Dallin Holker escapes grave harm

The rookie tight end began training camp with a lot of buzz. In the first preseason game of the team, he even produced a few noteworthy plays. Holker hurt his ankle before to the second exhibition game. Due of this, he was unable to attend the 49ers game and is not anticipated to play against Tennessee.

Nevertheless, if he continues on his current course for rehabilitation, the Saints anticipate that he will be ready for the start of the season.

Standouts from the undrafted return from injury
Broadly Despite being a camp favorite in July, Mason Tipton missed the preseason due to injury. He seems to be returning now to establish his place on New Orleans’ wide receiver depth chart. Coaches have taken notice of him quite rapidly.

Regarding Payton, he has established himself as a player who is worthy of a berth on the team as a backup cornerback. For New Orleans, the undrafted defensive back has been among the most influential players of the preseason.

Just as the first week of the regular season draws near, the Saints are becoming healthier.

2,800-yard wide receiver maybe headed to a New Orleans Saints contract.

A experienced wide receiver might be added by the New Orleans Saints to complement quarterback Derek Carr in what looks to be a very competitive NFC South competition.

Reuniting the quarterback of the Saints with one of his favorite targets from their time together with the Las Vegas Raiders may be the best choice.

Hunter Renfrow is still unsigned and might be a good option for clubs that need receivers, like the Saints, particularly after Week 1, when veteran contracts that were recently inked don’t guarantee a spot in the league.

As Week 1 draws near, Renfrow, who was waived by the Raiders earlier in the summer due to cap concerns, is still hunting for a new NFL team.

How the New Orleans Saints Would Fit with Hunter Renfrow

In the coming weeks, Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox compiled a list of prospective free agents, which included a reunion between Carr and Renfrow with the Saints.
Knox writes for B/R that “Renfrow would be a logical addition for a couple of teams.” “The New Orleans Saints lack a reliable receiving depth behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, and they may try to reunite him with former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr.”

Renfrow grabbed 25 of his 37 targets for 255 yards last season despite suffering through persistent ailments and extremely erratic quarterback performance in Las Vegas. However, he is three years removed from a 2021 campaign that saw him reach 1,000 yards.

After ranking 11th in passing offense the previous season with an average of 234.7 yards per game, the Saints may be searching for a third option who can produce consistently.

Renfrow is a seasoned and dependable target in the slot, so having him around could also help Carr stay consistent throughout the season.
