Jimmy Butler, a basketball player for the Miami Heat, and Ben Armstrong, a YouTube influencer, have agreed to pay $340,000 in total to settle allegations that they assisted in tricking Binance Holdings Ltd. clients into purchasing unregistered shares.
Following months of negotiations with the assistance of a mediator, the customers’ attorneys urged a federal judge in Miami on Monday to grant preliminary approval to the settlement. Before the judge approves the deal, the purchasers of the Binance securities would then get a hearing to voice any objections.
The lawsuit was brought against Butler and Armstrong in the previous year.
Udonis Haslem Talks About The Time He Was Nearly Traded.
Udonis Haslem, the three-time NBA champion, played for the Miami Heat throughout his entire 20-year career, but there was a brief period of time when he considered joining a different team.
In an interview with “Pat Bev Pod,” Haslem disclosed that he was on the verge of being dealt for Allen Iverson by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Although it never materialized and Haslem stayed in Miami, the move appears to have been close to happening.

Haslem was only aware that Iverson was the focal point of the proposed package; he was unaware of its specifics.
That makes sense considering how highly skilled he was as a basketball player and how much the Heat would have had to give up to acquire him.
Haslem asserts that one of the reasons he chose not to go to Philadelphia was because of his teammate Dwyane Wade.
It is said that he intervened and stopped the trade from taking place.
Nevertheless, it’s plausible that the Heat objected to the notion of having two rising talents, Wade and Iverson, on the same squad.
That pair might not have gotten along, which could have contributed to the plan’s failure.
Fortunately, Haslem never had to relocate to Philadelphia, even if he wasn’t too fond of the concept.
Wade and Iverson’s partnership was never seen by the NBA community because both players stayed with their respective teams.
Currently regarded as a Heat legend, Haslem has a tight relationship with the team.
Though it is difficult to fathom, he was on the verge of moving to the north to play for the Sixers.
Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat Makes a Strong Remark About Being a Title Contender in 2024–2025.
Despite the Miami Heat not doing much this offseason, guard Tyler Herro feels very confident in the team’s ability to contend for an NBA championship the following season.
When the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year sat down with Mat Issa of Forbes to discuss his predictions for the Miami Heat in 2024–2025, his opening ten sentences pretty much said it all.
“I see no reason not to. Herro remarked, “We have everything we need.” “I’m quite looking forward to this season. It goes without saying that many teams in the East believe they have improved on the outside. But internally, I believe we’ve improved.
“Although the appearance may alter slightly, we have young players that we believe will keep improving. In this league, Bam Adebayo and I are young men who are beginning to develop into seasoned players. Terry Rozier is back to full health and prepared to fight. Jimmy Butler is another player who is particularly driven following his exclusion from the postseason the previous year.
The Miami Heat only made it to the playoffs through the play-in round after reaching the NBA Finals in 2022–2023; they were ultimately defeated in five games by the Boston Celtics in the opening round.
Miami Heat must field a more robust team in 2024–2025.
The Miami Heat were beset by injuries in 2023–24; Tyler Herro was limited to 42 games in the regular season, while Jimmy Butler was sidelined for the duration of the Boston Celtics first-round series due to an unfortunate knee injury sustained during the play-in.
Miami Heat president Pat Riley stated repeatedly during the departure interviews that in order for the team to compete in the better Eastern Conference, its best players must be available more frequently.
Riley remarked, “We have a really good group of guys.” “Player availability and getting your men healthy enough to play every night is the biggest problem. We have to accept that idea wholeheartedly. This is understood by Micky and Nick Arison, the owners of Heat, when I speak with them.
