Following their disappointing loss to the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the NFL playoffs the previous season, the Buffalo Bills entered the offseason feeling discouraged and with an unclear future.

While the Bills rely on their star quarterback Josh Allen’s performance to be a genuine AFC contender for the Super Bowl, Buffalo made an intriguing trade of wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in the NFL offseason, allowing fellow wideout Gabe Davis to sign a free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With Coleman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Khalil Shakir, Mack Hollins, Curtis Samuel, and KJ Hamler, the Bills may be able to weather the pricey offseason loses of Diggs and Davis and still contend in the AFC.

The Bills have two reliable tight ends on the roster in Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, who may both have significant roles in the passing game in 2024, in addition to several gifted wide receivers.

1 WR Has “Best Body Control,” According to Josh Allen.

The Buffalo Bills offense in 2024 will be significantly different because they won’t have players like Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs.

While Davis was allowed to sign a free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Bills dealt Diggs to the Houston Texans.

Josh Allen is still starting for Buffalo, though, and he will get an opportunity to prove himself in a receiving corps that many believe is lacking in talent.

Despite passing on Florida State standout Keon Coleman at the top of the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the club still has wideout talent.

Coleman, who is arguably the most athletic player at the position, has already had an impact on the Bills and his teammates by becoming a playmaker.

Allen talked about what makes Coleman unique, highlighting in particular his ability to control his body using Green Light with Chris Long.

Allen remarked, “I think he has the best body control that I’ve seen.”

Allen begins the video by comparing Coleman’s size to receivers like Dez Bryant and Michael Thomas, but he also mentions that Coleman’s experience playing basketball may have helped with his body control.

Coleman’s physical attributes and ability to be in the right spot at the right time allow him to easily make grabs that other players are unable to.

With Allen at quarterback, Coleman will have every chance to develop into a significant player in the NFL, even though he still needs more development as a route runner.
