You would think the Buffalo Bills were packing up and relocating the team to a different city. Despite all of the recent successes, such as the four consecutive AFC East titles (from 2020 to the present), the five consecutive postseason visits (from 2019 to the present), and the five consecutive seasons with ten or more wins, the Super Bowl step remains absent.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the only thing (or person) that can be held accountable for the Bills’ failures throughout the years. Every year, Sean McDermott, the head coach, positions this team. They’ve been quite intimate. In the Chiefs’ 2023 Divisional Round home game, they were defeated by a score of three. Against the Chiefs in overtime in 2022, it was heartbreaking. You get the idea in 2021.
Regretfully, this is the way of the NFL, despite the fact that McDermott has done almost everything correctly and given the Bills every opportunity to win it all. Herm Edwards once said, “You play to win the game.”

Perhaps the team decides to let go of McDermott in order to shake things up on the squad and introduce fresh ideas to the locker room.
