Even though it’s the NBA offseason, Kevin Durant, a star for the Phoenix Suns, doesn’t take a day off from playing hoops or trolling people on Twitter.

When ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks had reached an agreement to trade two-way forward Mikal Bridges, a quiet Tuesday night quickly became chaotic. Brooklyn received Bogdanovic and a second-round pick from New York as part of the trade. The Nets got a second round pick, an unprotected pick swap, and five first round picks in return.

Trade Interest for Kevin Durant?
A Brooklyn selection from the James Harden deal was returned to the Nets in a trade that was reported by ESPN’s Woj immediately after the trade. As part of the Kevin Durant trade, the Rockets got a future pick from the Phoenix Suns, which was later traded to Brooklyn.

Surprisingly, Wojnarowski also said that the Rockets were keen to acquire Durant in a trade, even though the Suns insisted on holding onto Durant.

Shortly after, Woj then reiterated that the Suns intend to hold onto Durant, that Houston will be “aggressive” in seeking a trade to bolster their squad in the short term, and that clubs may eventually target Devin Booker, another outstanding player from the Suns.

Following his insinuations that the Rockets are interested in trading for Durant, Woj proceeded to make odd remarks regarding the possibility of Suns players becoming available in the future.

When one fan noticed that Kevin Durant’s name was being used disparagingly, they decided to tromp him on Twitter.

“KD, I’m so sorry,” the Twitter user wrote. “Lol, look at his reputation now.”

At that point, Durant replied on Twitter with a quote tweet.

Kevin Durant has a deal that runs through the NBA season of 2025–2026 for the next two years. When things became hard during the previous season, there were rumors that the Suns star wanted out, but he swiftly denied them.

Averaging 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 52.3 percent from the field, 41.3 percent from three, and 85.6 percent from the free throw line, Durant made 75 appearances for the Suns during his 16th NBA season.

This year, the NBA Draft is a two-day event that begins on Wednesday night. A lot of decisions are anticipated to be made starting at the Draft. On June 30 at 3 PM PST, NBA Free Agency is scheduled to start. There may be a lot of action.
