Josh Christopher, a guard, has the potential to be the next G League wonder that the Miami Heat turn to as a rotation player.

The Heat announced on Thursday that Christopher had signed a two-way contract. He received recognition for his outstanding performance in the Las Vegas Summer League. After averaging 19.3 points, three rebounds, two steals, and 1.8 assists in six games, he led the Heat to victory.

“They challenged me more so on the defensive end and just told me don’t even worry about offense first,” said Christoper. I believe that by putting my focus on guarding, I was able to play offense much more effectively since I was less concerned about it. Things always go awry if I worry too much about anything.”
