AC Milan have announced the full travelling squad for the pre-season tour of the United States of America, with a number of young players being given the chance to impress.
The 29 players that will be competing are featured in the squad, which was revealed with an image with an American theme on the club’s official X account.
Milan will face three extremely difficult opponents while in the United States: Spanish powerhouse Barcelona, La Liga and Champions League winners Real Madrid, and Premier League winners Manchester City.
Paulo Fonseca is off on his inaugural pre-season tour with Milan, and the Portuguese coach is experiencing a very uncomfortable moment. After the recent completion of the Copa America and the 2024 European Championship, several players are still on vacation.
Additionally, five of Milan’s most potential young players are now representing Italy at the U19 European Championship, providing them with an opportunity to play in a first-team setting.
On August 3, Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan, and Tijjani Reijnders are anticipated in Milanello; on August 10, Alvaro Morata is anticipated to be present.
Rafael Leao will arrive in the United States on July 28, Christian Pulisic and Yunush Musah on July 26, and Noah Okafor on July 30.
