The unexpected rosters for the Rangers.July 16 Midsummer Classic at Globe Life Field..

Voting for the 2024 All-Star Game’s second phase began on Sunday, and fans will have until Wednesday to choose from the finalists at each position.

However, there will still be a lot of work to be done to complete the rosters for the Rangers’ July 16 Midsummer Classic at Globe Life Field, including pitchers and backup position players. While some of those selections are clear-cut, there are several outstanding All-Star prospects that may not be as well-known to baseball fans if you look past the biggest names and most outrageous stats.

He’s playing like an All-Star right now, in 2024. According to FanGraphs, Ramos has the highest WAR of any NL outfielder since his season opener on May 8—2.0. Though he is now on the injured list, Fernando Tatis Jr. (150) is the only qualifying NL outfielder with a higher wRC+ in that span than his 149. Not all development is linear. Baseball is really challenging. It’s the best, though, because of tales like these.
