According to 9NEWS. According to Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos want to sign former UFL great linebacker Dondrea Tillman pending a physical. He played this past season for the
Birmingham Stallions, who recently won the title, but is now slated to join the Denver Broncos. He just worked out with the organization and will now have to go through a physical and be released from his UFL contract (which is allegedly a formality) before officially signing with the Broncos. When he does sign, he is anticipated to sign a three-year, $2.84 million contract with a $10,000 signing bonus, according to KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson. Once he is officially signed, the Broncos must make a corresponding roster move to create room for him on their 90-man roster.
Tillman, a 26-year-old outside linebacker listed as 6-3, 270 pounds, played for the Birmingham Stallions this season, who won the title. This season, he produced 36 tackles and 4 sacks as part of a strong Stallions defense. He recorded 92 tackles and 8.5 sacks in three seasons with the Stallions, who have now won three consecutive championships.
