Just now: Ross Chastain decision to leave NASCAR is terrible because…..

Busch, who is still winless this season, has work to do to clinch his spot in the Cup Series playoffs, but a new on-track issue appears every week, stifling any momentum he hopes to generate.

Last week at Gateway, Kyle Larson got into a fight, which terminated his day early. Busch was on track for a top-five or top-10 result at Sonoma last Sunday when Ross Chastain dumped him on the penultimate lap.

Kevin Harvick is beginning to “feel sorry” for Busch, he stated on his “Happy Hour” podcast with Kaitlyn Vincie and Mamba Smith. “Now I’m to the point where I’m starting to feel sorry for Kyle Busch because of everything that is happening,” said Busch. “He wrecked”

Busch went from having only six top-10 finishes this season to finishing 12th at Sonoma. He would eventually run out of gas before reaching the start/finish line. Busch spoke about the incident after the race, and it’s safe to assume that irritation is setting in. “A couple of guys there at the end of the race had better tires than we did but we were going to have a good day,” Busch commented. “Unfortunately, one of those men got with us on the final lap, ruining our day. It’s frustrating that we didn’t receive the finish we deserved.”
