Martin Truex Jr. is the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion and is in his fifth season driving the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. He earned his first win with the team in 2019 at Richmond Raceway, and his most recent victory came at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in July 2023. His 2023 win at Dover Motor Speedway snapped a 54-race winless streak. He has 34 career victories in the Cup Series and won the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum to start the 2023 campaign.

Truex previously drove for Furniture Row Racing, where, in his five years with the team, he amassed 17 victories, including the Coca-Cola 600 and Southern 500. Truex is also a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion (2004-05) and has 13 career wins in that division. He won his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race in 2021 on Bristol Motor Speedway’s dirt track.
