SO SAD: Buffalo bills head coach Sean McDermott announced his departure just now…

The Buffalo Bills are now focusing on a new era of Buffalo football and wondering who will be the new No.

1 wide receiver as they move forward and Stefon Diggs talks to media about the trade for the first time. The Bills believe they have their starting boundary receivers wrapped up in Keon Coleman and Curtis Samuel. But who will assume the position of primary target? For the first time since 2019, the Bills will not have a certain No. 1 receiver, hence they are currently in unfamiliar territory. The Buffalo Bills are now focusing on a new project as they move forward as Stefon Diggs discusses the trade with reporters for the first time.

Could their top wide receiver be a rookie? The Bills believe their wide receiving room is set, otherwise they would have continued to add to it with players other than Chase Claypool. Everything seems to be leading to fan favorite Keon Coleman as the “No.1” wide receiver that supporters have been demanding since Stefon Diggs was traded in April. That raises the question: Why should Keon Coleman be chosen instead of someone like Khalil Shakir or the previously mentioned Curtis Samuel?

First of all, as painful as it is to admit, Khalil Shakir won’t put in enough work to merit the position. Shakir is capable of much more, as we have all witnessed, but the Bills don’t appear to be prepared to give him that chance. In the first month of the season, he might have the chance to play significant snaps, but Keon Coleman will receive that chance. Last season, Dalton Kincaid saw a lot of action in the spot, while Curtis Samuel is a versatile player. With Curtis Samuel likely coming in second in this scenario, Keon is now the wide receiver receiving the most of the targets among the group.
