GM of the Bills, Brandon Beane, says Trade, Stefon Diggs

Buffalo then struck a record-breaking deal that sent Stefon Diggs to the Texans.

When Diggs was signed, the Bills thought he could still be a No. 1 player and wanted to keep him around for at least another season. But Buffalo’s strategy was altered when the Texans agreed to trade for Diggs, including a 2025 second-round pick. In order to move on from Diggs, the latter team assumed a dead money penalty of somewhat over $31MM.
