Other than Stenhouse punch, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports told Stenhouse that the shorts were the fight’s standout feature. On Sunday night, Stenhouse and the shorts worked out. However, he will have less money in his wallet because he was fined $75,000 for striking Busch. In a recent appearance on NASCAR Race Hub, he acknowledged that he didn’t understand the size of the fine.
I would say I was a little bewildered at parts of it, Stenhouse remarked, adding that he was aware that a penalty of some kind was imminent. He went on to say that while he’s “a little confused at the whole situation,” NASCAR’s rule book is a part of it. They are free to do as they like, but this weekend we are going to race in Charlotte as if nothing had happened, and we will make a statement about that.
