SO SAD: The crash between Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse results to a terrible….

Following a furious altercation involving Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kyle Busch, and members of their respective teams—including a family member—NASCAR must now decide whether to impose penalties on the individuals involved in the altercation that took place following Sunday’s All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

After Stenhouse made an aggressive pass on the first lap of the non-points race, causing Busch to go into the wall, Busch purposefully crashed Stenhouse and eliminated him on the second lap. Following the race, Stenhouse was watching Busch’s hauler as the No. 8 car’s driver got closer. Following a brief exchange of words, Stenhouse became enraged and started a brawl with teammates.

If the situation develops aggressive, everyone involved might face consequences, according to NASCAR’s regulations. This language exposes Stenhouse, Busch, and other members of their respective teams—JTG Daugherty Racing and Richard Childress Racing—to fines and even suspension. Still, historical data suggests that neither Stenhouse nor Busch will likely face a suspension. When it comes to drivers fighting, NASCAR is generally forgiving; in most situations, just monetary penalties are imposed. Because he waited for Busch at RCR’s hauler and delivered the initial blow, Stenhouse is the driver most likely to face a fine out of the two.
