Patrick Mahomes is happy with the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest moves, expressing his enthusiasm for the team’s additions during this week’s activities.

In the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chiefs took a risk by trading up to get Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

Worthy, who set the record for the fastest 40-yard sprint earlier this year, adds outstanding speed and talent to the Chiefs receiving corps.

Chiefs were clever with their actions.
The Chiefs continued their proactive strategy by trading up again in the second round to select BYU offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia.

Suamataia, known for his athleticism on the field, was named All-Big 12 last season, demonstrating his ability to protect the quarterback and strengthen the team’s offensive line.

When Mahomes learned of Suamataia’s selection, he lost no time in expressing his gratitude to Chiefs general manager Brett Veach for his strategic decisions.

Thank you for watching!

“I love Veach, man,” Mahomes passionately stated.

Suamataia revealed to reporters that he was star-struck by the idea of playing beside Mahomes. The chance to block Patrick Mahomes, a player with enormous talent and notoriety, is a dream come true for the rookie offensive tackle.

“Blocking for Patty Mahomes himself? “It’s mind-blowing,” Suamataia said, expressing his awe and delight about the idea.
