SO SAD: Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder is suspended today after facing….

In front of a packed Mortgage Fieldhouse on Friday night, the Hawkeyes rallied a 12-point deficit to overcome UConn 71-69. With 23 points,

Hannah Stuelke took the lead, and Caitlin Clark made some clutch shots in the fourth quarter to help Iowa gain momentum. Stuelke, Clark, and Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder met with the media after the game to go over everything. What they said was as follows.

We are quite pleased with our second half performance tonight. We had some difficulties in the first half, but we persevered and I’m very pleased of these young women’s character for being able to remain composed in the face of some extremely trying circumstances. We felt good about ourselves at halftime because we had brought it to within six.

Hannah Stuelke was outstanding, in my opinion, tonight. However, it brings us great joy to be participating in the final game for the second consecutive year.
