Carlos Alcaraz Commits To Play 2024 China Open In Beijing
The China Open has announced that Carlos Alcaraz will compete there for the second consecutive year.
Last year, Alcaraz participated in the competition for the first time. He defeated Yannick Hanfmann, Lorenzo Musetti, and Casper Ruud before falling in the semifinal against Jannik Sinner, the eventual winner.
The ATP Tour made its first stop in China since 2019 as the Spaniard experienced the renowned Asian Swing for the first time. The 2020–2022 ATP 500 tournament in Beijing and the Masters 1000 in Shanghai were postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
