ESPN NEWS: Finally Buffalo bills traded a super WR Marvin Harrison today.
After trading Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, the Buffalo Bills are in need of a top receiver, and one analyst believes they might be able to acquire one through a second blockbuster trade.
Rob Maaddi of The Associated Press projected in a mock draft that was released on April 16 that the Bills would move up to the No. 4 overall pick and exchange it with the Arizona Cardinals in order to select wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
Maaddi agreed that it would be a costly deal, but he thinks the Bills would do it if they were under pressure to win the Super Bowl.
Harrison is regarded by most pundits as the best overall player and top receiving prospect in this year’s draft, and most believe he will go in the top five. Maaddi thinks the Bills could go for best, despite other mock draft predictions saying they will trade up to the back end of the top 10 or later to select one of the other top receivers.
The best wide receiver on the field last season was Harrison, the Hall of Fame receiver Marvin Harrison’s son, according to Maaddi. “Due to his lack of offseason training, his stock has somewhat declined, but his film is still sufficient.
