Following the arrival of receiver Cam Coleman at the top of Auburn’s 2024 recruiting class, Hugh Freeze and his staff are making every effort to further strengthen the depth chart.

Auburn is reportedly pursuing a gifted recruit who is committed to another college football programme, according to Chad Simmons of On3.
“5-star wide receiver committed Dallas Schools are still pursuing Wilson, according to Wilson, “like crazy.” Among those universities are Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Miami, according to Simmons.

The 200-pound, 6-foot-3 Wilson is a natural space receiver who wins most 50-50 balls and uses his hands to thwart bump-and-run coverage. Though he is now committed to Oregon, he is visiting many Dixie campuses to look at institutions.

Wilson’s unofficial visit to Auburn and, ideally, a formal visit as well are Auburn’s next priorities. Until he signs his letter of intent, colleges all across the country will be vying for him as the #18 player in the country according to On3. Wilson represents Tampa Tech in Florida.
