On Wednesday afternoon, Tony Alford gave his first press conference as the running backs coach for Michigan football.

Standing in front of a backdrop of a national title, Alford answered questions on joining the Wolverines after almost ten years as Ohio State’s coach while sporting a short-sleeved maize-and-blue quarter zip. He also discussed his early thoughts on the U-M running backs room and Donovan Edwards.
