At every level of the program, Louisville men’s basketball is receiving a much-needed overhaul.

In addition to having Pat Kelsey replace Kenny Payne as head coach for the 2024–25 campaign, the team will have a nearly completely new roster the next year, primarily due to the fact that every scholarship player from the 2023–24 squad has already registered on the transfer portal.

Freshman point guard Ty-Laur Johnson’s portal entry on Tuesday afternoon made it official. As the team’s final scholarship athlete, he had completed his studies.
