Huntley-Hatfield has joined guard Skyy Clark, who declared his transfer to UCLA on Wednesday, as the second former Cardinal to make public his transfer destination.

Eleven Louisville players, including Huntley-Hatfield, used the transfer portal after second-year head coach Kenny Payne was fired on March 13. Due to a significant number of portal defections, Louisville will have no scholarship return players in 2024–25.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound forward was perhaps Louisville’s best player from the 2023–24 campaign and one of just two players to start all 32 games for the Tigers this past season. With 12.9 points per game, Huntley-Hatfield was the Cardinals’ second-leading scorer after Skyy Clark. He also led the team in rebounds with 8.4 per game.
