UNBELIEVABLE: Kyle Shanahan is shocked. Cornerback Isaac Yiadom terminated his contracts today….

Following Marshon Lattimore’s injury last season, Yiadom was a vital member of the Saints secondary. Throughout his tenure as a player for New Orleans, Yiadom totaled fourteen pass breaks.

At just 28, he would have provided the Saints with valuable depth this season had he been retained.

Yiadom was only flagged for two penalties in eight starts in 2023 while allowing a 48.9% completion percentage, which ranked 12th in the NFL.

Additionally, the veteran added value to special teams. He was the fifth player on the team with 267 ST snaps.

He had a breakout season overall, and the Saints need to move him up the depth chart at cornerback. The free agency pool still has some interesting alternatives, and the front staff will be keeping an eye on the NFL Draft to add quality to the secondary.
