In NFL Free Agency, the New England Patriots have gotten off to a respectable start. keeping some of their own players and adding some supporting cast members, but would they try to make a big impression? One guy who comes to mind is Justin Simmons, a safety who was recently released. The Patriots might further establish themselves as one of the top 10 defenses by bringing in an experienced playmaker to their secondary. Simmons would be a fantastic addition to the already formidable New England defense as he is an accomplished veteran with excellent instincts.
For all of his abilities, Simmons might be a very valuable asset on the field because of his leadership qualities and defensive-managing abilities. Simmons, who is thirty years old, has a lot of experience and has the potential to be a fantastic leader in Foxboro. Jabrill Peppers and Kyle Dugger are two of the Patriots’ many formidable safeties, but since Devin McCourty’s retirement, they have been lacking a free safety. Simmons might make a big difference right away and blend in well with this defense.
