Victor Adeboyejo hobbled out of today’s 2-2 draw with Exeter City due to a hamstring issue, and Ian Evatt disclosed that Dion Charles had also aggravated a previously healed knee injury after the final siren.

Although goalie Nathan Baxter is expected to make a comeback following the Bolton match at Derby County next weekend, the manager of the team was cursing his luck at the thought of losing two of his main forwards.

He declared, “At the moment, we are being absolutely crucified with injuries.” Victor sustained a hamstring injury, and Dion experienced a knee response. It is unclear how these issues may manifest going forward.

Wanderers fought back to salvage a point at St James Park with to a header from Eoin Toal in the 87th minute, but they fell to third after Derby County defeated Bristol Rovers handily.

With a victory against Burton Albion, Peterborough United gained ground, while Barnsley was shocked to lose 5-1 at home against Lincoln.

Bolton’s dominance at Exeter in the first half and the last fifteen minutes made their defensive errors seem even more serious.

Evatt, though, is adamant that no one player should be held accountable.
