Richard Ofori, the goalkeeper for the Black Stars, claims he is not to blame for the two goals he gave up on Sunday during the team’s loss to Cape Verde in the ongoing AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.

After Ofori mishandled a Jovane Cabral effort from outside the box, allowing Jamiro Monteiro to tap it into an empty net, the team lost to the Cape Verdean Blue Sharks on Sunday. This was the first goal Ofori had let up in 17 minutes.

Garry Rodrigues put the cherry on top for the Blue Sharks two minutes into additional time when he tapped home from close range after Ofori came out but missed the ball.
