The Georgia bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart announced his departure….
Many observers predict that Brock Bowers will be selected in the top 15 in the 2024 NFL Draft, and with good cause.
The Napa, California native is considered as one of the best receiving tight ends in recent college football history and assisted head coach Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs to two national titles.
On Sunday, Bowers’ list of three NFL tight ends he either looks up to or models his game after was made public by NFL journalist Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.
At six feet four and 240 pounds, Bowers claimed he watched four Super Bowl winners, Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, growing up and acknowledged that “Gronk” is an inspiration to him.
Bowers remarked, “I love watching Gronk. I also love watching George Kittle and Travis Kelce.”
Bowers claimed that three-time Super Bowl champion for Kansas City, Kevin Kelce, has motivated him to raise his level of play.
Bowers stated, “We do some film study stuff with Georgia,” according to NBC Sports Bay Area. “I love watching him play and try to learn some things from his game.”
Perhaps in his rookie campaign, Bowers could emerge as one of the NFL’s top tight ends, following in the footsteps of Detroit Lions standout Sam LaPorta (86 receptions, 889 yards, 10 touchdowns) in 2023.
