The Buffalo Bills finished their previous season atop their division despite a sluggish start.
The Bills ended the regular season with an 11-6 record, good enough to take first place in the AFC East, led by Allen. Thanks to an offense and defense that were among the top six in the league among the 32 clubs, that momentum continued into the playoffs.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were the team the Bills met in the wild card round, and they were completely destroyed by them, winning 31–17. However, the Kansas City Chiefs upset them in the following round, and they went on to win Super Bowl LVIII.
Buffalo must surround Josh Allen with the right players if he is to win the big one at last. Thankfully, the front office may have a number of choices to take into account, particularly with regard to wide receivers.
