Jonah Williams is a free agent, therefore their hole is on the right side with Orlando Brown Jr. secured on the left side spot. The Cincinnati Bengals, one of the preseason favorites to win Super Bowl 58, looked set to stay right in the middle of things in both the AFC and the NFL as a whole. But Joe Burrow, the team’s standout quarterback, suffered an injury in week eleven that all but terminated the situation. After the Bengals’ week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens caused Burrow to tear a ligament in his right hand (the throwing hand), Jake Browning assumed the team’s lead signal-caller role for the rest of the campaign.
The Bengals wouldn’t completely collapse, though, as Zac Taylor’s team finished the season with a respectable 9-8 record and only missed the playoffs thanks to Browning’s unexpectedly strong showing.
