Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins turned plenty of heads with his incredible 40-yard dash time during Friday’s on-field workouts at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, but it looks like that’ll be the last scouts see of him until his pro day. Wiggins suffered an injury during his 4.29-second 40-yard dash, per multiple reports. The injury was initially reported as a “pop” Wiggins felt in his groin area (via Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson), but has since been reported as a hip flexor strain (via ESPN’s Jordan Reid). Wiggins is still expected to be fully healthy in time to participate in the Tigers’ pro day workout, per Reid.
