SO SAD: Bengals head coach Zac Taylor is suspended due to….

Cincinnati — During this week’s combine, Brad Kragthorpe,

the new quarterbacks coach for the Bengals, spoke with the media and shared his favorite Joe Burrow tale as he gets back to full strength on the Cincinnati staff.

Since Burrow’s freshman year at LSU, when the quarterback made a play that will never be forgotten, Kragthorpe has been the quarterback coach for the Bengals in every season save 2019.

Something that kind of instantly springs to mind was during one of his initial sessions at LSU. He had a play where we got to cross-dog pressure that he was basically hot on when he was vying for the starting position.

Therefore, in order to be able to throw hot, he had to drift back into the pocket. Actually, that was the idea and the third phase. He drifts all the way back to complete it to the shallow cross as a hot solution because all of the offensive team’s coaches and players are lingering behind.

And just so happens that I’m standing not too far from where he ended the play. And I remarked, “Hey, good play.” I thought I was pretty amazing. And he grinned, saying, “That was easy.”

Walk around, pivot, and return to the finish line. That was, therefore, one of my very first impressions of Joe, and it’s clear that this perception is consistent with the trajectory of his career thus far.”
