When the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers play their final game of the regular season, several All-Stars might not be able to make it.
The two players for the Clippers, Paul George and Ivica Zubac, are classified as injured. George missed the most recent game against the Sacramento Kings due to a left knee ailment that has kept him out of action. Ivica Zubac is unreliable due to a medical condition. James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Kawhi Leonard are all listed as available to play against the Lakers.
Six players for the Los Angeles Lakers are on the team’s injury report: Christian Wood, Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, Cam Reddish, and LeBron James. LeBron James’ left ankle peroneal tendinopathy puts him in doubt; Anthony Davis’ bilateral Achilles tendinopathy puts him probably out; Cam Reddish’s right ankle sprain puts him out; Jarred Vanderbilt’s right mid-foot sprain puts him out; Gabe Vincent’s left knee surgery puts him out; and Christian Wood’s left knee effusion puts him out.
With each game being extremely tight, the Lakers presently lead the Clippers 2-1 in the regular season series. The Los Angeles Lakers are the only club that has a strong matchup with the Clippers this year. The Clippers haven’t performed at their best in February, but they haven’t dropped two straight games since November either.
Tonight at 10:00 p.m. EST, the Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers will play.
