Aston Villa could prevent Man Utd from signing ideal due,

Given that Douglas Luiz is Arsenal’s top summer midfield target and that the Brazilian may leave Villa Park at the conclusion of the 2023–2024 season, Villa’s interest will not come as a surprise.
But right now, Palacios would be a good fit at Manchester United.

Palacios is thought to be slightly more suited for Bayern, although a transfer to Old Trafford also makes sense.
The 25-year-old has shown his ability at Bayer Leverkusen, and if Xabi Alonso leaves the team this summer to play for Liverpool or Bayern, there’s a good probability that other elite players will follow, which would tempt Palacios to leave as well.
He therefore makes sense as a Casemiro replacement, especially as Man Utd are intrigued.t

Although he has more tackles than the Englishman, he is too simple to get around and frequently tries to take opponents down as a result.
It’s a hint that Casemiro’s abilities are declining dangerously, and Manchester United has to acquire a replacement this summer.
But if Aston Villa is astute, they will sign Palacios before Manchester United, just in case the aforementioned Luiz decides to join Arsenal.
