The NFL is about to begin a new league year, and the Chicago Bears will be at the center of it.

The 2024 offseason has begun. The Carolina Panthers, who ended with the worst record and traded the pick to Chicago back in March of 2023, are the reason Chicago has the first pick for the second year in a row.
The Bears are anticipated to select a player at the top of the draft, and most people think it will be a quarterback. Even though Caleb Williams is getting all the attention, there’s a remote possibility that the Bears will develop a strong interest in Drake Maye of North Carolina.

Maye, a two-year starter, immediately gained NFL notice for his Tar Heels play in 2022. Despite the Tar Heels’s difficulties, Maye played well and is regarded as one of the best overall prospects in this 2024 class. He returned in 2023 as one of the Heisman favorites.
