LeBron James was declared ineligible for the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Golden State Warriors, despite playing only in the first half of the 2024 NBA All-Star Game and taking a few days off.
In a disheartening game where the club was unable to overcome its low point, the Lakers were thrashed by the Warriors without James on the court. Golden State sealed the victory and sent the purple and gold back home empty-handed, despite Los Angeles’ several attempts to show interest
James has missed at least one game in a back-to-back set due to ankle pain throughout a significant portion of the 2023–24 season. Los Angeles will play the San Antonio Spurs, who are also coming off a loss, on Friday in the second night of a back-to-back, so they won’t have much time to reflect on their defeat to Golden State.
Fortunately for the Lakers, head coach Darvin Ham stated that there’s a good possibility James can play against the Spurs again, via
