Luka Doncic and Dante Exum didn’t work out on Tuesday.

Following the NBA All-Star break, Doncic was given an additional off, while Exum is battling with a right knee injury. On Wednesday, it is anticipated that Doncic will practice again.

Despite being able to practice, rookie Dereck Lively II of the Dallas Mavericks, who has been battling with a nasal fracture, was seen wearing a mask on Tuesday.

Lively took part in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge alongside Doncic during All-Star weekend. For Lively, being able to take part in the event was a well-earned honor. In addition, it allowed Lively to get used to donning the mask—something he was questioned about after practice on Tuesday.

“I try to work out with the mask every time I work out,” Lively remarked. “Make the mask as comfortable as you can so that putting it on becomes second nature.”

Lively gave a timeframe for how long he must wear it as well.

I will therefore need to wear it for around a month starting on the day of the procedure. merely being able to confirm that everything entirely fits inside my nose.

Before the All-Star break, Lively returned from injury against the San Antonio Spurs. In his debut season, Lively—who turned 20 on February 12—has had a major influence on Dallas.
