BRAKING NEWS: Former Alabama athlete notion that the Crimson Tide winning 10-2 in 2024 would be….

Alabama football is predicted by Las Vegas oddsmakers to win nine games in the upcoming autumn season.

The question on everyone’s mind in college football is whether Kalen DeBoer can successfully take over as head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide if Nick Saban leaves. Outsiders want to know if Alabama is stable in Saban’s absence.

On the Paul Finebaum Show, Matt Hayes, a College Football Writer for Saturday Down South, was discussed. He declared that a 10-2 season for Alabama the following year would “be a tragedy.” An 11-1 victory for the Crimson Tide, according to Hayes, “might be a tragedy.”

Former Alabama offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor is not of the same opinion. Hayes’ opinion was addressed on social media by the two-time national champion and four-time Southeastern Conference champion. Taylor called Hayes’ perspective “egregious.”

If Alabama ended as the SEC champion and advanced to the College Football Playoffs with a 10-2 or 11-1 record, it would have been a good season. In the first season of a 12-team CFP, the Tide has a challenging schedule, but if it manages the situation properly, it will have an opportunity to make it in.
