4 people hurt in shootings and stabbings over the weekend in Philadelphia

According to authorities, there were four injuries from violence in Philadelphia over the weekend.

According to investigators, shooting broke out on the 100 block of Diamond Street in North Philadelphia at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, leaving two individuals hospitalized.

According to authorities, a 41-year-old male was critically injured after receiving eight gunshot wounds and was sent to Temple University Hospital. The 19-year-old female victim had three gunshot wounds to her arm, but authorities stated that her injuries are not anticipated to be life-threatening.

According to the PPD, at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, in the 1400 block of Morris Street in Point Breeze, a 35-year-old male was stabbed in the neck. According to the authorities, he was taken in critical condition to Jefferson University Hospital.

Investigators claimed that a 16-year-old boy was shot in his right leg on the 4800 block of N. 5th Street in Olney earlier on Saturday at around one in the morning. Later on, Einstein Medical Center identified him as being in stable condition.
