Additionally, occasionally talks take place behind closed doors that you aren’t even aware of until they, I suppose, decide whether or not to reveal them to you. However, I was never affected by it, so I was also aware of it when the reports surfaced.

James told reporters, “I am a Laker and I’m happy, and I have been very happy being a Laker the last six years.” I hope things continue like way. However, I’m not sure how long it will last or what outfit I’ll be wearing. I’m hoping it’s with the Lakers. There are many greats and it’s a great organization. However, we’ll see. I’m not sure how it will conclude, but I’m certain that it will.

James, 39, has a player option worth $51.4 million for the upcoming year. The Lakers can also make a significant move in the offseason with their three first-round picks.
