Comic-Con 2016: Teen Wolf cast competes

The announcement that Teen Wolf’s forthcoming sixth season will be its final one overshadowed the show’s Comic-Con appearance on Thursday. When the cast visited EW’s Con-X for some friendly competition, they weren’t in sorrow.

With 80 episodes already banked, Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, and Cody Christian faced off against Dylan Sprayberry and Khylin Rhambo by attempting to determine which MTV characters said certain quotes. This was by no means an easy assignment.

Samantha Highfill of EW posed questions to the Posey/Roden/Christian group (dubbed “Jamie Hyneman” after the reticent Mythbusters character) in opposition to Rhambo and Sprayberry’s team (dubbed the appropriately titled “Wolfgang”).

When Roden and Rhambo correctly predicted lines they read on their own, things got off to an easy start. Posey displayed his competitive nature when the young actor yelled, “Do not [help them]!” in response to showrunner Jeff Davis giving the opposition pointers.

Team Jamie Hyneman won when Roden delivered a clutch performance to break the 3-3 tiebreak.

Following that, fans could ask the cast questions. According to Davis, the first name of Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) will be revealed in the last batch of episodes.

Who would the cast like to see go at the end of the season, a fan inquired. A few cried out against that prospect, and Posey offered himself. The star wanted everything to be neatly wrapped up more than anything. “I desire closure for all parties involved, including the fans,” he declared.

MTV will air Teen Wolf’s final 20 episodes in November.
