SO SAD: Alabama QB Tyler is suspended by the head coach duel to…
According to Matt Zenith of 247Sports on Tuesday, Alabama football head coach Kalen DeBoer will continue to appoint personnel.
Crimson Tide strength staffer Paul Constantine will join the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. Since 2022, Constantine has held the position of director of applied science for Alabama.
Since 2020, he has worked as a strength staff member with the Crimson Tide. After Matt Rhea left to join the New Orleans Saints, Constantine assumed the director’s position.
In conjunction with David Ballou, the director of sports performance at Alabama, Constantine oversaw the strength and conditioning program. When veteran strength coach Scott Cochran left UA in 2020, Nick Saban replaced him with a two-man lineup.
Prior to joining the Crimson Tide in 2020, he had collaborated with both Rhea and Ballou at Indiana. Janese Constantine, his wife, once served as the women’s basketball team’s assistant coach for Alabama.
After a few days, Constantine will be the third employee from Alabama to accept a position in the NFL. He joined offensive line coach Scott Huff and offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, who both accepted positions with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, who made their announcement on Tuesday.
According to reports, he will become an associate director of strength and conditioning on Raheem Morris’ staff, the new head coach of the Falcons. Morris was brought in to take Arthur Smith’s job after Atlanta’s 7-10 campaign the previous year.
