The Golden State Warriors, who are now ranked outside of the Play-In in 11th place, might move back to.500 if they defeat the Suns at home this evening. They have to win their last three games to get this close to even on the season, so it has been a struggle to get here.

Phoenix, which has won 12 of the previous 15 games including the previous three, is one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Despite losing to the Utah Jazz at the trade deadline and without Devin Booker, they had no problems with them.

Whether the players like it or not, the outside noise that used to regularly seep into the locker room when the trade deadline approached is no longer present. They are now past the rumors and whispers. We can all return our attention to the basketball match.

With roughly 30 games remaining in the season, both sides appear to have made their final roster changes. Phoenix signed second-year bowling ball player David Roddy and veteran three-and-D wing Royce O’Neale, while the Warriors sent Cory Joseph to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for a second-round pick.

Guard Klay Thompson, an old hand, was one member of the squad that stayed. This season, he is going through it. 37.7% from three (his lowest ever) and 17.1 points on average (his lowest since 2013–14).

Conversely, the Suns have discovered yet another rationale for designating Grayson Allen as their X-factor. In the victory on Thursday night, he replaced Devin Booker and contributed a career-high 14 assists.

The two Pacific Division rivals will meet one last time this season. The past three have been won by the Suns by an average of five points. Since he hit him in the back of the dome, Draymond Green will be facing Jusuf Nurkic for the first time.
