Running back Jahmyr Gibbs of the Detroit Lions came in fourth place in the poll for the 2023 Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.

The NFL Honors ceremony in Las Vegas on Thursday night saw the presentation of the award to C.J. Stroud, the quarterback for the Houston Texans.

The AP panel of media representatives gave Stroud 48 first-place votes and 2 second-place votes, totaling 246 points (five points for first place, three points for second, and one point for third).

With four votes for third place, Gibbs received four points.

Puka Nacua, a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, came in second with 154 points, good for two first-place votes and 48 second-place votes.

With forty votes for third place, tight end Sam LaPorta of Detroit finished third.

Running back Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons, who received three votes for third place, and wide receivers Jayden Reed of the Green Bay Packers, Rashee Rice of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Zay Flowers of the Baltimore Ravens each received one vote for third place.

In 15 regular-season games, Gibbs—who was chosen with the 12th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft—caught 52 catches for 316 yards and one touchdown and ran for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns on 182 carries. Then he ran for a touchdown.
