Just now: the Miami GM have decide to trade a talented WR duel to….
For the past twenty years, the Miami Hurricanes have been pushing for a return to the top of the college football ranks. Every season begins with great expectations and ends with letdown. But this offseason, they have acquired some solid assets through the transfer portal. Rodney Hill, a former running back for Florida State, is another fantastic addition to the program.
Hill had committed to Florida A&M initially, but Willie Simmons, the running back coach, resigned to take a coaching position at Duke. He decided to renew his recruitment and signed with the Hurricanes in the end. With the Seminoles, Hill never received regular playing time; in two seasons, he only accumulated 334 running yards and two touchdowns. The Hurricanes have a deep running back group, but skill position players find Miami appealing because of their strong offensive line. He will still be eligible for three years after that.
The Florida Gators versus the Swamp. The Hurricanes will then have to contend with several of the ACC’s top teams. They will host Florida State but must travel to Louisville and Syracuse. The Hurricanes’ standing in the ACC will be decided by all of those games. Mario Cristobal, the head coach, must eventually demonstrate his ability to triumph over the best clubs in the conference.
