NEWS NOW: George Kittle Trolled Packers With NSFW Dagger on…
tight end George Kittle has a reputation for being a bit of a jokester. On Tuesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show, he cracked jokes at one fan base’s expense.
Fresh off the 49ers’ divisional round win over the Green Bay Packers, Kittle immediately started roasting A.J. Hawk, who previously played for Green Bay for nine years. The seventh-year tight end then turned his attention to die-hard Packers fan Ty Schmit, one of the show’s producers.
“You son of a b—-, George,” Schmit told Kittle. “It’s just, it’s so hard. It’s so hard.”
Kittle responded by flipping the bird at Schmit and said, “Go Pack go the f— home.”
Kittle’s 49ers took care of business against the Packers on Saturday, eking by 24—21 in a game that showcased Brock Purdy’s weaknesses in rainy weather. Purdy completed 23 of 39 passes for 252 yards and threw his only passing touchdown to Kittle, who finished with four catches for 81 yards.
Despite early rumblings of a potential upset, San Francisco managed to clinch their fifth consecutive playoff victory against Green Bay and, as Kittle so daintily put it, sent the Pack home.
The 49ers, who have maintained a pristine 5—0 postseason record at Levi’s Stadium, will host the Detroit Lions at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday in the NFC championship game.
